Development of control systems

ILWT provides the unification of parts and components for equipment to shorten the development time and reduce the cost of production. Systems bases on series-manufactured laser, arc-welding and compressor equipment, industrial robots, controllers, and rotators. The original design of ILWT: laser-arc module, monitoring and guidance, automatic control system and gaspreparation and distribution units.

On-line monitoring of welding processes allows to control the required quality of welds in the manufacture of responsible products. Control technology works in real time, detecting defects with certainty comparable to conventional defect detection at a greater efficiency and productivity in batch production. The use of monitoring systems reduces costs for subsequent defect detection and shortens the production cycle.

The control system of technological system synchronizes the control of all subsystems, generates sequence diagrams of technological processes. Control system is implemented in the form of hardware and software, which is a distributed computing control system that performs the function of managing all components of welding technological complex.

Software «LaserCAD» provides calculating geometric parameters for laser, hybrid laser-arc and electron beam weld joints, choosing of optimal parameters of processing mode, selecting the proper equipment and choosing of material in terms of the intended joint properties. It predicts structure and properties of weld joint and heat affected zone. Application of computer simulation reduces time and material cost during development of new welding technology.
